Commissioning services to help boroughs end rough sleeping, and to provide support to help rough sleepers find and maintain secure accommodation.

Every year around 3,000 homeless households across London are placed in emergency temporary accommodation while Local Authorities work to support them into longer term arrangements.
Commissioning Alliance, in collaboration with the London Boroughs, is delivering a pan-London service that ensures B&B and studio properties used by councils for temporary accommodation meet the required housing standards.
The Setting the Standard (StS) project has been founded with the support of 31 London boroughs, London Councils, and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, making this a truly pan-London mission.
We are delighted to have been awarded the iESE Certificate of Excellence in February 2022, in recognition of the innovation, use of novel technology, and exemplary standard of work demonstrated by our Setting the Standard team.

“I rate the overall Setting the Standard experience as excellent in two key areas: the software and the team. The software is very user-friendly and enables you to track your progress easily. The team were very helpful, supplying all the information I needed to get started, offering support throughout the journey, and always doing what they say they’d do.”
“The StS interface is a very user-friendly system. If there are any queries the support staff of StS, as well as the inspectors, are always willing to help and assist us.”
